Located in the “Channel Islands Five” residence hall area, near UCSB Campus Point, De La Guerra, or DLG as it’s commonly known, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monday through Friday, and brunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. DLG’s culinary staff prepares food in small batches, keeping dishes fresh at platform stations like The Eastside, where the Taqueria features sizzling Mexican specialties such as fajitas, sopes, sustainable fish tacos, empanadas, and homemade salsas. Plant-forward dishes are always available, and The Greens salad bar offers different specialty prepared salads each day, locally grown greens and a healthy variety of organic vegetables, including sprouted legumes for salad toppings.
